Abstract
OSP Performance Data Investigator Design Mode Authority
Error Description
Design Mode is used to customize perspectives in Performance
Data Investigator or PDI (IBM Navigator for i Performance task
-> Investigate Data).
Design Mode requires authority to specific PDI directories.
This authority can be obtained either by running with *ALLOBJ
authority or using an authorization list.
Problem Summary
Design Mode is used to customize perspectives in Performance
Data Investigator or PDI (IBM Navigator for i Performance task
-> Investigate Data).
Design Mode requires authority to specific PDI directories.
This authority can be obtained either by running with *ALLOBJ
authority or using an authorization list.
Problem Conclusion
This PTF automates the process needed to place authority to the
PDI Design Mode directories into the QPMCCFCN authorization
list. *ALLOBJ authority is not necessary if the QPMCCFCN
authorization list is used. Each user profile requiring Design
Mode authority must be authorized to use QPMCCFCN. This can be
done with the following command:
ADDAUTLE AUTL(QPMCCFCN) USER(<user profile name>) AUT(*ALL)
