Error description

  • Any numbered indicators in the input buffer of an externally
described record format should always be shown in the indicator
section of the live outline view. Numbered indicators in the
output buffer are shown if O-Specs are generated for the record
format. This will be true if either a WRITE/UPDATE or EXFMT
operation is done to the record, or if any P specification
    exists in the RPG module.

Local fix

  • In Window > Preferences > Remote Systems->Remote Systems LPEX
Editor-> IBM i Parsers->ILE RPG, remove the check mark for
"Update the Outline view when text is changed in the editor".
This change will disable the live outline view and you need to
click on refresh in the outline view to see the source
    information.
