Abstract
OSP-MSGCPF5035 CRTPFRDTA QAPMXSTGD data mapping error
Error Description
When running CRTPFRDTA, message CPF5035 with error code 14 was
generated. A data mapping error occurred on field SDDATA in file
QAPMXSTGD.
Problem Summary
When running CRTPFRDTA, message CPF5035 with error code 14 was
generated. A data mapping error occurred on field SDDATA in file
QAPMXSTGD.
Problem Conclusion
The field SDDATA in file QAPMXSTGD was too small. The SDDATA
field size in file QAPMXSTGD has been increased. The code has
also been changed so that if the amount of data available is
larger than the field size of SDDATA, only the maximum amount of
data that can be stored in field SDDATA will be populated.
Please note that this PTF will NOT fix existing instances of the
file QAPMXSTGD. The data mapping error on field SDDATA in file
QAPMXSTGD can still occur on old versions of file QAPMXSTGD,
even after this PTF has been applied.
If file QAPMXSTGD already exists in the library specified on the
TOLIB parameter of CRTPFRDTA and previously collected data in
file QAPMXSTGD in that library is no longer needed, then delete
file QAPMXSTGD from that library prior to running CRTPFRDTA.
If file QAPMXSTGD already exists in the library specified on the
TOLIB parameter of CRTPFRDTA and previously collected data from
file QAPMXSTGD in that library is still needed, then there are
two options:
1) Change the library specified on the TOLIB parameter of
CRTPFRDTA to one in which the file QAPMXSTGD does not already
exist.
2) Convert the old format of file QAPMXSTGD to the new version
by doing the following steps:
- RNMOBJ OBJ(TOLIB/QAPMXSTGD) OBJTYPE(*FILE) NEWOBJ(QAPMXSTGD1)
- CRTDUPOBJ OBJ(QAPMXSTGD) FROMLIB(QSYS) OBJTYPE(*FILE)
TOLIB(TOLIB)
- CPYF FROMFILE(TOLIB/QAPMXSTGD1) TOFILE(TOLIB/QAPMXSTGD)
FROMMBR(*ALL) TOMBR(*FROMMBR) MBROPT(*REPLACE) FMTOPT(*MAP)
- DLTF FILE(TOLIB/QAPMXSTGD1)
