Abstract

OSP-MSGCPF3763 *MGTCOL objects damaged

Error Description

Intermittently receiving msgcpf3763 Q* in library QMGTC2        
previously damaged during backup. APAR created for additional  
data collection                                                

Problem Summary

Message CPF3763 was received when trying to save an object of  
type *MGTCOL with attribute *PFRDTL or *PFRHST.                

Problem Conclusion

*MGTCOL objects with attributes *PFRDTL or *PFRHST can become  
damaged when being concurrently updated by both Management      
Central Monitors and one of the Management Central jobs        
QYMEPFRCVT or QYMEARCPMA. The Management Collection Object code
has been changed to fix this problem. This fix will not correct
any previously damaged objects.
