Abstract
OSP-UNPRED-SRCB6005121 Job Watcher SQL Data Problem
Error Description
Collecting SQL data with Job Watcher may have negative,
unpredictable results on busy systems with high amounts of SQL
activity. Job Watcher SQL data collection could cause abnormal
temporary storage growth in the jobs being examined.
In some situations the system could crash.
These conditions could occur when running the Job Watcher
command QIDRWCH/WCHJOB with parameters DATATYPEU((*SQLSTMT)),
DATATYPEU((*SQLCURSTMT)) or DATATYPEU((*SQLDETAIL)).
Problem Summary
Collecting SQL data with Job Watcher may have negative,

Problem Conclusion
Job Watcher was not properly validating variables used
to address system storage. The proper checks have been added.
