Abstract

MQM400-MSGAMQ9915 IF QMGR STARTED BEFORE TCP ACTIVE FOR
CLUSSDR

Error Description

If a Cluster queue manager tries to start it's cluster sender
channel before the TCP/IP stack is started message AMQ9915 is
logged, this is valid; however once the TCP/IP stack is started
the cluster sender channel will continue to fail with the same
error message.

Regular sender channels are not affected just cluster sender
channels.

PROBLEM SUMMARY:
If a Cluster queue manager tries to start it's cluster sender
channel before the TCP/IP stack is started message AMQ9915 is
logged, this is valid; however once the TCP/IP stack is started
the cluster sender channel will continue to fail with the same
error message. This behavior is only associated with clussdr.

The IPv4/IPv6 protocol detection is done once per process rather
than each time a channel is started.

Problem Conclusion

Correction has been done to allow IPv4/IPv6 protocol detection
when a cluster sender channel re-attempt a connection after the
specified  time interval.
