Abstract

MQM400 ILE RPG COPY BOOK CONTAINS DUPLICATE ENTRIES

Error Description

WMQ RPG ILE COPY BOOK CMQCXPH contains duplicate entries
CXHDL                 93     96I 0
.
CXHDL                157    160I 0

Problem Summary

MQM400 - COPYFILE QMQM/QRPGLESRC/CMQCXPG THE CXHDL FIELD IS
REPEATED TWICE, THE SECOND OCCURRENCE SHOULD BE CXEXS

In Channel Exit Parameter Structure file QMQM/QRPGLESRC/CMQCXPG
the length of header information field (CXHDL) is repeated
twice. This leads to a compilation error of the RPG programs
using this header file.

Users affected: All WMQ users on iSeries platform using the
header file CMQCXPG in their RPG programs

Platforms affected: iSeries

Length of header information field CXHDL is repeated twice in
Channel Exit Parameter Structure CMQCXPG.

D* Length of header information
D  CXHDL                 93     96I 0 INZ(0)
D* Number of bytes in transmission buffer reserved for exit to
D  CXHDL                157    160I 0 INZ(0)

Problem Conclusion

Changes have been done in the channel exit structures. The
second occurrence of CXHDL has been renamed to CXEXS (Number of
bytes in transmission buffer reserved for exit to use)

D* Number of bytes in transmission buffer reserved for exit to
D  CXEXS                157    160I 0 INZ(0)

As a workaround users can manually edit the header file and
change the second occurrence of CXHDL to CXEXS.
