RS03811: CUSTOM SETTING MAY NOT BE TAKEN IN ACCOUNT WHEN CREATED ON BUSINESS CONSOLE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When creating with the DC UI a custom setting with a default
  value, the setting may not be available from API, and a null
  value will returned using API, even-though every thing looks
  fine on the UI side, even after a logout/re-login.
  

Local fix

• Make sure that when you create a custom setting that you change
  the default value and click elsewhere to loose focus, so that
  value change confirmation is displayed so that value is taken in
  account and available through API.

Problem conclusion

• The onChange event is now sent when the user types a key.
