Error description

  • When performing a copy from an external source and opening the
    search box, the focus is kept on the decision table and value
    is copied in a cell.
    * ctrl+c in Excel
    * edit mode in BC
    * ctrl+f in BC
    => BC search box opens
    * ctrl+v in BC
    => the value is being copied in the cell and not in the search
    box
    
    The focus should be set on the searchbox.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The problem is on Chrome, focus does not go to the Business
    Console search box when performing a copy from an external
    source and opening the search box, the focus is kept on the
    decision table. This is related to the way the copy/paste event
    is intercepted, the solution is to not use system events if the
    search box is focused.
