APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • To reproduce the problem the necessary artifacts are:
    - A Java XOM contains one Java array element like String[]
    - The BOM defines the default corresponding array element
    - An other BOM defines a domain made of static String (like
    packagename.AA)
    - The DVS test files defines values having the same value as
the name of some domain element ("AA")
As a consequence BOM domain values are used when serializating
array element leading to incorrect comparison result.

Local fix

  • Define the BOM element based on an array ([]) as a Collection.
To do so, in the BOM editor, for this element create a static
domain collection with array element base type.

Problem summary

  • Incorrect serialization of arrays with domain types.

Problem conclusion

  • The code is fixed

Temporary fix
