Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    * USERS AFFECTED: IMS Database Repair Facility V1.1 and V1.2 *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DBRF did not work for the case where *
    * the user copied the product library, *
    *                      SFABLMD0 to a different library. It     *
    * continued to use the original product *
    *                      library.                                *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    DBRF was continuing to use SFABLMD0 associated with the SMP high
    level qualifierrather than a user-provided library, where they
    had copied it to.

Problem conclusion

  • DBRF was fixed to pick up the name of this user-provided
    library, that contains all the members of the product library,
    SFABLMD0. The user must supply this fully-qualified library name
    as the last parameter on the EXEC command that launches the
    product. Users must not delete the original SFABLMD0, even
    though DBRF will use the user-provided library if this parameter
    is specified.
