Comments
This enhancement allows FPB DEDB PC to accept the LBI (Large Block Interface) image copy. When LBI or BLKSIZE not specified image copy is produced by the IC2 Utility, the BLKSIZE fields in DCB and DCBE are zero, so FPB DEDB PC has been modified to set correct BLKSIZE to these image copy to accept it. But under following conditions, FPB DEDB PC can not process a LBI image copy, and a IC2 image copy produced without BLKSIZE parameter specification. 1. FPB DEDB PC runs on operating system which does not support LBI. 2. A LBI compressed image copy produced by the Image Copy Extensions. The module FABAINIT and FABASNAP has been modified. The open exit checks the attribute of the input image copy and the LBI environment. If input is a LBI image copy, then the exit prepares to accept it. BUILDRCD macro is no longer issued for QSAM VBS. DA1DCB00 has been modified to add DCBE in DFSUDMP DCB to accept LBI image copy. FABUIC20 has been modified as follows: If input is a IC2 LBI data set, then the compressed flag is set on. DCBLRECL field is considered to have greater than 32760 value. FABAIC20 was reassembled to reflect modified FABUIC20. DA1WRK10 has been modified. The work fields for BUILDRCD macro are changed to reserved fields. FABADA1 has been modified. The logic to FREEMAIN work fields for BUILDRCD macro are removed. ======================== = Documentation change = ======================== IMS High Performance Fast Path Utilities for z/OS User's Guide Volume 2: Fast Path Basic Tools Version 2 Release 1 (SC18-9238-00) Part 2.
