PQ91579: ADMIN TOOL PANEL ADB21SAR RESULTS IN SQLCODE -103

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When a DSSIZE of 4G was specified on a CRE (CREATE LIKE) line
  command a SQLCODE -103 ( SQLCODE103 ) resulted.
  

Local fix

• Edit the SQL, make 4G into 4 G (space between the two).

Problem conclusion

• DB2 SQL Reference states that, for example, 4G is a legitimate
  DSSIZE parameter. However, when the statement is executed, a
  SQLCODE 103 occurs because DB2 requires that a blank exist
  between the number and the letter 'G'.
