• When a column, with a comment, is added to the end of a table
  and also to a view on that table, and submitted as a batch job,
  the comment is lost.

Problem conclusion

• This APAR adds support for the LABEL on column and COMMENT on
  column commands to SMART INSERT. The problem was seen when a
  column was inserted at the end of the table and the comment
  was lost.
