PQ90929: FIX SOME DEFECTIVE LOGIC IN DEDB RANDOMIZER FOR BMP WITH PARDLI=1

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If a DEDB SR is called in a BMP with PARDLI=1 specified, the
  control region gets a user abend 070 (ABENDU070).

   IMS control region failed with abend0c4 at IEAVETCL +03A6 or
  abend070 - 10 RC10 in IEAVETCL when a vendor s/w FILE-AID
  FILEAID accessed a DEDB through SRG / SDO generated randomizer.
  This happens after IMS APAR PQ65385 (V7), PQ74231 (V8) or
  PQ86621 (V9) has been installed.

  *                      a BMP with PARDLI=1.                    *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *

  After IMS maintenance PQ65385 (for V7), PQ74231 (for V8) or
  PQ86621 (for V9) has been applied, IMS control region fails
  with ABEND0C4 at IEAVETCL +03A6 or ABEND070 - 10 RC10 in
  IEAVETCL when a DEDB SR generated by SRG is called in a BMP with
  PARDLI=1 specified. This problem occurs also if a BMP
  environment with PARDLI=1 is set up implicitly in a program and
  a DEDB for which an SR generated by SRG is accessed in it. Such
  programs include IBM File Manager for z/OS Version 3
  (PID: 5655-J48) IMS Feature and Compuware File-AID for IMS, an
  OEM software.
  

Problem conclusion

• The FABOF macro has been modified so that it will issue ISWITCH
  macro with STACK/UNSTACK option when a DEDB SR is running in IMS
  Version 7 or later.
