PQ88404: LOOPING CAN OCCUR IN PROGRAM ALADTL2 DURING CCSID CONVERSION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If a tablespace has non-EBCDIC CCSID (ASCII/UNICODE) and the IBM
  product 'Support for Unicode' is not properly installed, looping
  can occur attempting CCSID conversion. The product should issue
  an informational message and continue. If the CCSID is ASCII,
  conversion can still occur; if it is Unicode, hex data only is
  provided.
