A class cast exception when trying to display the image using getScaledInstance with Image.SCALE_SMOOTH scaling option.
Local fix
IMAGE_REPLICATE may solve this problem, but will have impact on the quality of the image displayed.
Problem summary
When a Image.SCALE_REPLICATE is used a classcast exception is thrown in the console. This is not consistantly seen.
Problem conclusion
Fixed. . To obtain the fix: Install build 20031016 or later
