Error description

  • ABENDS0C4 in compression routine DFSKMPX0 when using user header
exit routine. The cause of the abend is that the chained save
area for DFSKMPX0 is broken by the user header exit routine.
HP Load expected to use the chained save area in the exit
    routine.

    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. *
    ****************************************************************
ABENDS0C4 occurs in the segment edit/compression routine that
uses a two chained save area such as a sample segment
edit/compression routine (DFSCMPX0) when using the user header
    exit routine.
The cause of the abend is that the chained save area for the
segment edit/compression routine is broken by the user header
    exit routine.
HP Load expected to use the chained save area in the user header
    exit routine.

Problem conclusion

  • HP Load has been modified to re-chain the save area after
calling the user header exit routine.
