Error description

  • ABENDS0C7 in module IPISMCPS at offset +102A when processing
IMS V6 or V7 log data with IMS V8 log data.
Problem is caused by IMS V8 type 36 log record which has changed
the UTC offset from +44 to +4C because of the introduction of
the new 8 byte field QLDQCCBO.

Abend0C7 in module IPISMCPS at offset X'102A' when processing
IMS V6 or V7 log data with IMS V8 log data.
The problem is caused by IMS V8 type 36 log record which has
changed the UTC offset from X'44' to X'4C' because of the
introduction of the new 8 byte field, QLDQCCB0.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • When processing data from multiple IMS subsystems (SYSPLEX),
module IPISMCPS is corrected to identify the correct IMS
version of type 36 records.
