Error description

  • APAR PQ67893 (PTF UQ72998) for DB2 Query Monitor
(CQM) added functionality to review SQLCODE summary
data from the current data interval being collected,
including DSNTIAR-formatted text. Access to this
data was limited to current display interval only.

This APAR extends that functionality to collect this
summary data for prior intervals as well. The
information collected, and externalized into prior
intervals, includes DSNTIAR text, the SQLCODE and any
available SQL text from the statement causing the error
    indicated by the SQLCODE.

The user can access this information by executing SQL
queries in tools such as SPUFI, QMF or user-written
application programs. Sample query SQL will be provided.
Access to this data is not provided from the ISPF
    interface for CQM V1.1.

Local fix

  • The items in the currently supplied DDL that requires
changes are definitions of a decimal data column and
the VALUES clause in the index clustering definition.
    .
Edit the supplied sample in member CQMDDLC in the supplied
sample library. All references to DEC column definitions,
and all the VALUE clauses where the index clustering is
defined will need to be changed. Thus, all occurrences of
"DEC(15,6)" can be edited to "DEC(15, 6)", and all occurrences
of ",2147483647" can be edited to "", 2147483647". In both
cases a space is inserted after the comma. If the local
customization has changed the values for the clustering index
definition, change the "2147483647" to the appropriate local
    value.

In a new install of CQM, the only DDL needed for customization
and execution is the sample member CQMDDLC. All other DDL
samples in the supplied sample library are for users with
prior release versions of CQM and are used to add new tables
and indices to accommodate added function to those prior version
