  * USERS AFFECTED: Users of IBM DB2 High Performance Unload.    *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 1. In HPU 2.1 a MASK has been added to  *
  *                         the PIC parameter, in order to       *
  *                         enhance the formating possibilities. *
  *                         In order to keep the compatibility   *
  *                         with the data unloaded by previous   *
  *                         versions of HPU, the default value   *
  *                         for this Mask should be ?0.0'. The   *
  *                         manual specifies that the default is *
  *                         ?*.*', which is wrong. Also, the     *
  *                         default value used in the modules    *
  *                         was 00.0, which is also wrong. In    *
  *                         addition the merge between the       *
  *                         specification of this Mask at        *
  *                         different level of the syntax was    *
  *                         incorrect.                           *
  *                      2. 0c4 in "ochaineRemoveItem" can occur *
  *                         when an unknown CCSID is used in DB2 *
  *                         customization. Another symptom is    *
  *                         that the LOAD statement generated    *
  *                         (in LOADDDN) can contain a blank     *
  *                         table name.                          *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Install this APAR PQ74020                    *

  1. Module INZCTRL has been modified to merge correctly the
     values of the mask specified at different level of the
     syntax.
  2. Module INZHYACC has been modified to recognize when the mask
     is not specified at a particular level of the syntax.
  3. Module OCHAR has been modified to :
     - Complete the list of known CCSIDs
     - 3 new functions : _ocharInitDictCcsid() ,
     _ocharGetFlagCcsid() _ocharRegisterCcsid() have been added
     to manage dynamically the CCSIDs not known by the product.
  4. Module INZCTRL has been modified : new function
     _inzcontrolCcsidScheme() has been added to manage new
     ccsids not known by the product.
  

Problem conclusion
