When selecting a JCL Jobstream to run from the joblist panel,
the user had the option of choosing a job card name of
    userid plus a suffix character.
The user chose those options, then pressed enter before
attempting to scroll the table to his selection.
Message MSGIDLR407 was received and table scrolling was
    inhibitted.

Problem conclusion

  • The scrolling problem for the joblist Panel (IDL$JBLS)s was
resolved by corrections to the panel logic.
Additional Error corrections included in this APAR are as
    follows:
1.) AbendS013 reasoncode034 in Index Builder Jobs generated
        by DB Control Suite.
2.) GDG data sets for Image Copy were built in Image Copy jobs
when the user chose to use NON-GDG data sets for Image copy,
but did choose GDG data sets for Unload.
3.) The ALTNAME field on the joblist Panel was not being reset
when it had been changed or deleted.
4.) A TBSORT parameter for field ICI used when the latest Image
Copy list is displayed during recovery job JCL generation
was incorrect. The problem occurs if primary and secondary
image copies are specified during collect with the RECON
GENMAX set to 10 or higher. The list of the latest image
copies for recovery was empty as a result.
