    THIS APAR ADDRESSES TWO PROBLEMS.
    - ENQUEUE CONFLICT BETWEEN BPLTRACE PROC AND BPLGTF PROC
      FOR THE GTF.PARMLIB DATASET.
    - ABEND0C1 IN MODULE BPLDIR WHEN NO GTF 440 RECORDS ARE
PRESENT IN THE TRACE DATASET BEING REPORTED.

Problem conclusion

  • - THE GTF.PARMLIB DATASET WILL BE DYNAMICALLY DEALLOCATED ONCE
THE TRACE COLLECTION PARAMETERS ARE IN PLACE.
    - ADD MESSAGE 'BPL542E' WHEN THERE ARE NO BUFFER POOL ANALYZER
TRACE RECORDS IN THE TRACE DATASET.
THE FOLLOWING TWO MESSAGES ARE BEING ADDED:
BPL542E NO BUFFER POOL ANALYZER TRACE RECORDS FOUND IN THE
    FIRST TRACE DATASET
    EXPLANATION:
THE FIRST GTF TRACE DATASET DID NOT CONTAIN THE REQUIRED
       BUFFER POOL ANALYZER TRACE RECORDS.
    SYSTEM ACTION:
       THE REPORTING UTILITY ABENDS.
    PROGRAMMER RESPONSE:
VERIFY THAT THE BPLTRACE STARTED TASK COMPLETED
SUCCESSFULLY. ERRORS IN THIS TASK COULD RESULT
IN FAILURE TO RECORD THE REQUIRED TRACE RECORDS.
    BPL300W DYNAMIC UNALLOC FAILED RC=XX ERROR CODE=XXXX
    INFO CODE=XXXX
    EXPLANATION:
DYNAMIC UNALLOCATION OF THE SYSLIB DD FAILED WITH THE
INDICATED RETURN CODE AND DYNAMIC ALLOCATION ERROR AND
       INFORMATION CODES.
    SYSTEM ACTION:
       THE BPLTRACE TASK CONTINUES.
    PROGRAMMER RESPONSE:
SHOULD AN ENQUEUE CONFLICT OCCUR FOR THE GTF.PARMLIB
DATASET BETWEEN THE BPLTRACE AND BPLGTF TASKS, CANCEL
BOTH TASKS. CONTACT THE SUPPORT CENTER FOR ASSISTANCE.
