Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    * USERS AFFECTED: All SQLPA users. *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: (1) a mod to the ANLQMA clist which *
    * allows SQLPA users to specify DSNEXIT *
    * and DSNLOAD libraries on the call from *
    * Query Monitor under the SQLPA TSO *
    * interface; this will help customers *
    * with many systems to manage *
    *                      (2) a solution for Fixed Overflow error *
    *                      handling, eliminating possible ANL3033E *
    *                      error message                           *
    * (3) new support for DBCS and Mixed *
    * Character sets implemented with NLSCODE *
    * parameter, valid in either ANLPARM or *
    * ANLCNTL, as well as in SQLPA QMF *
    *                      intercept (ANLGOV1) and Stored          *
    * procedure (ANLPROC) calls. Parameter *
    *                      format:NLSCODE KOR | JPN | CHS | CHT |  *
    *                      +OFF+    indicates DBCS support is      *
    *                      necessary for Korean, Japanese,Chinese, *
    *                      Taiwan, or OFF                          *
    * (4) the ANLSTAT program has been *
    * enhanced to eliminate SQLCODE -803 on *
    * Inserts to partitioned table stats *
    * (IDX, TAB, COL, COLDIST); also new *
    * parameters in ANLCNTRL (CONTROL) *
    * allow Global Creator and Database to *
    * be specified for target output, where *
    * Test names may vary from Production, *
    * eliminating manual editing of ANLSTAT *
    * output before applying to the target *
    *                      system                                  *
    *                      (5) The SQLPA Parser                    *
    * was corrected to eliminate a possible *
    *                      SQLCODE -104 error on 'SELECT INTO ?, ? *
    *                      ,?, ? FROM T1'... we had removed the    *
    * parm markers (?) which are illegal for *
    * Prepare, but that left 'SELECT FROM T1' *
    * if only parm markers had been used; now *
    * we'll add a literal to the Select list *
    * so that the statement will be OK for *
    *                      Prepare.                                *
    * (6) Fixed High Level Qualifier inserts *
    * on unqualified tables that were used in *
    *                      a Subselect: 'SELECT C1 FROM T1 WHERE   *
    *                      ... AND C2 IN (SELECT C3 FROM T3)OR C4  *
    *                      IN (SELECT C5 FROM T5)'  Before, the T3 *
    *                      and T5 unqualified tables were          *
    * defaulting to current authid, instead *
    * of using the QUALIFY parm's HLQ. Now we *
    * correctly use the HLQ for ALL *
    *                      unqualified tables                      *
    *                      (7) Eliminated the 'RUNSTATS Required'  *
    * message on tables, tablespaces and *
    * indexes that legitimately had no rows, *
    *                      but had been Runstat'ed...in DB2        *
    * operation, some tables start out like *
    * this (empty) and the message was *
    * a nuisance, as well as technically *
    *                      inaccurate.                             *
