• There are two problems addressed in this APAR:

  NOT FOUND

  DSN1PRNT of a partition of the tablespace with EXPAND ends with
  DSN1994I DSN1PRNT COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY,  00000000 PAGES

  but the page is not printed.

  DSN1PRNT was unable to properly format and print a compressed
  partitioned table space in a couple of specific cases when the
  FORMAT and EXPAND parameters were used.
  
  1) With a partitioned table space data set as the input,
     DSN1PRNT did not print the specified page range of a single
     partition.  Instead, DSN1PRNT finished RC00 and issued
     msgDSN1994I - DSN1PRNT COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY, 00000000 PAGES
     PROCESSED without any pages being printed
  
  2) When the input to DSN1PRNT is a full image copy of a
     partitioned table space with some partitions compressed and
     others not, DSN1PRNT did not print the pages specified of a
     compressed partition which was preceded by a non-compressed
     partition.  Instead, the DSN1PRNT job failed RC08 and issued
     msgDSN1988I - DSN1PRNT EXPAND KEYWORD IS SPECIFIED BUT
     DICTIONARY IS NOT FOUND
  
  In problem 1), after DSN1PRNT properly built the dictionary for
  the compressed partitioned table space and the first data page,
  another page was retrieved which unexpectedly happened to be a
  zero page.  This caused DSN1PRNT to prematurely go to the end
  of processing routine without printing and formatting the
  expanded compressed pages.
  
  In problem 2), the DSN1PRNT code did not take into account
  that some partitions can be compressed and others not in a
  partitioned table space.  In this case, DSN1PRNT processed
  the header page of a partition which was not compressed and
  found that there were no dictionary pages, so issued the error
  message: DSN1988I - DSN1PRNT EXPAND KEYWORD IS SPECIFIED BUT
  DICTIONARY IS NOT FOUND
  

Problem conclusion

• DSN1PRNT code was corrected to handle the reported problems.
