PQ66685: AIB RC 00F0 REASON A068: REQUESTED DEST IS BEING READ, DURING UNLOAD

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Messages Scrapped by AIB RC 00F0 by Reason Code A068: REQUESTED
  DEST IS BEING READ, is received during unload.  This occurs in a
  shared queues environment.
  This APAR will co-req IMS V7 APAR PQ66691.
  It is okay to have IMS's APAR installed without having this
  co-req installed. The reverse is not true (see responder page).
  IMS V6 and V8 APAR's will soon follow.

  *                 Install IMS APARs/PTF:                       *
  *                 PQ71553 if IMS 61 FMID = JMK6602             *
  *                 PQ66691 if IMS 71 FMID = HMK7700             *
  *                 PQ71122 if IMS 81 FMID = HMK8800             *
  *                 If IMS APAR/PTF is not installed-            *
  *                 QCF will loop if A068 is returned            *
  *                 from IMS.                                    *
  ****************************************************************
  QCF and IMS programs have been changed to continue unloading
  after reason A068 is returned from IMS call. The read
  destination is listed in a new report for QCF UNLOAD function.
  

Problem conclusion

• IMS and QCF programs are changed to continue unload after
  A068.Install IMS APAR/PTF. If QCF APAR/PTF is installed and
  IMS APAR/PTF is not installed- the QCF will end up in a loop
  after A068  returned from IMS.
