APAR status

Error description

• IPR MSGHPSG0901E "IDXBLD FUNCTION ENDED, HIGHEST RETURN CODE IS
  016" is received when invoking Index Builder from IPR V2.
  Index Builder messages indicate that DFSURWF1 is empty, and
  that 0 records have been loaded to secondary index datasets.
  The problem is triggered when DFSURWF1 is coded as DUMMY.  When
  Index Builder is running under IPR, DFSURWF1 DD is not used as
  input, but is used as output for logical relationship
  maintenance records that are filtered by Index Builder.  If no
  logical relationship is defined in the database, users can
  specify DFSURWF1 as DUMMY.
  With code added to Index Builder by APAR PQ57817 to check for
  empty DFSURWF1, the input is treated as empty when Index
  Builder is running under IPR as a subtask.  The empty checking
  should be done only when Index Builder is running stand-alone.

  After building the first index's record, the target RBA wasn't
  recalculated for the second index.
  

Problem conclusion

• Target RBA calculation has been included in each pass of the
  loop when building index records for the source segment
  currently received from IBSCAN.
