Error description
-
MSGHPSR0003W LAST RECORD WAS NOT A TRAILER RECORD received. File was determined to be *HD format because of information in the header record. However, the format was actually *CS and the spec for *CS needs to be revised. This APAR is to fix the PSSR portion of HP Load.

Problem summary

**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM IMS High Performance * * Load for OS/390 Release 1 (FMID=H1IM110). * * who use Physical Sequence Sort for Reload * * (PSSR). * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: (1) PSSR issues MSGFABS3640E, or * * MSGFABS3651E, when the CS format * * file contains only the DBD name, * * segment name and header length in * * the header. * * (2) The following problems appear after * * APAR PQ57582 has been applied. * * - PSSR incorrectly converts the * * *CS header record, when one of * * the following conditions is * * satisfied ; * * - converting the DB organization * * from PHDAM to PHIDAM. * * - changing the PHIDAM root key * * length. * * - PSSR incorrectly puts segments * * into SORTOUT4 data set, when * * receives rc=4,rsn=4059 from the * * partition selection. * * - PSSR reports incorrect RAP and * * BLOCK number, when a randomizer * * assigns RAP=0, BLOCK=0 to a * * record of HALDB. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** (1) PSSR uses header length and key length fields in header record to determine the unload format is *CS format, but the key length field in the header is optional for *CS format. (2) PSSR override a work area during creating the parameter list for partition selection.
