Error description

  • Customer's database DPCPURDB has seven indexes, IA, IB, IC, ID,
IE, IF and IG.  Customer is trying to rebuild IA.  The following
DD statement and input control cards are supplied:

The following error message is received:
IIUB013E NO GPCPURIB DD STATEMENT OR DYNAMIC ALLOCATION MEMBER
FOUND FOR DBD DPCPURIG
A DD statement for GPCPURIB should not be required.  Also, the
associated DBD for GPCPURIB is not DPCPURIG, as stated in the
error message.  It is DPCPURIB.
Also, when trying to rebuild a primary index, message
IIUB013E is receivied for a secondary index that is not
being built.  And again, the DD name and DBD name in the
message do not match.

Local fix

  • Use dynamic allocation as a circumvention.
