THREE NEW DATABASE ACCESS TYPES HAVE BEEN ADDED TO THE DICTIONARY: 1. PHDAM - PARTITIONED HDAM FOR IMS ACCESS TYPE PHDAM. 2. PHIDAM - PARTITIONED HIDAM FOR IMS ACCESS TYPE PHIDAM. 3. PINDEX - PARTITIONED SECONDARY INDEX FOR IMS ACCESS TYPE PSINDEX. TWO NEW SUBJECT CODES HAVE BEEN ADDED TO SUPPORT PARTITIONED DATABASES: 1. 'H' FOR PARTITIONED PHYSICAL DATABASES WITH ACCESS PHDAM AND PHIDAM, I.E., (T,H,PHDAM01,0) 2. 'Z' FOR PARTITIONED SECONDARY INDEX DATABASES WITH ACCESS PINDEX, I.E., (T,Z,PHDAMIDX,0). FIVE KEYWORDS HAVE BEEN ADDED TO THE DICTIONARY: 1.PSNAME TO MATCH IMS KEYWORD PSNAME. THE KEYWORD APPEARS ON THE PHYSICAL DATABASE FORMAT. VALID VALUE IS AN 8 CHARACTER PARTITION NAME. 2.PDSGROUP TO MATCH IMS KEYWORD DSGROUP. THE KEYWORD APPEARS ON THE PHYSICAL DATABASE STRUCTURE FORMAT AS FIELD PDSG. VALID VALUES ARE A THROUGH J. 3.RKSIZE TO MATCH IMS KEYWORD RKSIZE. THE KEYWORD APPEARS ON THE SECONDARY INDEX FORMAT VALID VALUE 0 TO 32767 4.STAGE2 TO MATCH IMS KEYWORD STAGE2. THE KEYWORD APPEARS ON DATA ENTRY DATABASE FORMAT VALID VALUES ARE Y(YES) AND N(NO). 5.XCI TO MATCH IMS KEYWORD XCI. THE KEYWORD APPEARS ON DATA ENTRY DATABASE FORMAT VALID VALUES ARE Y(YES) AND N(NO). THE DBD_IN AND DBD_OUT FUNCTIONS AND REPORTS HAVE BEEN MODIFIED TO SUPPORT THE NEW KEYWORDS.

IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING STEPS TO COMPLETE INSTALLATION OF THIS PTF. 1. THE PTF SHOULD BE APPLIED WITH JCLIN IN ORDER TO SELECT THE NEW DATA MIGRATION MODULE DBDAMTB4. 2. REVIEW THE SECTION ON 'MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES' IN CHAPTER 1 OF THE INSTALLATION GUIDE. 3. RECOMPILE THE NEW AND MODIFIED FORMATS. JOB DBDAMFS MAY BE USED. THE NEW/MODIFIED FORMATS ARE: DBDXBD DBDXDP DBDXDS DBDXSL DBDXXD DBDXXF DBDXXS 4. UNLOAD THE CURRENT DATA DICTIONARY DATABASES. JOB DBDAUNLD IS SUPPLIED FOR THIS PURPOSE. 5. USE THE UNLOAD UTILITY REPORT TO UPDATE THE DBD RANDOMIZING PARAMETERS, AS DISCUSSED IN CHAPTER 2 OF THE INSTALLATION GUIDE. 6. REGENERATE DBD'S MODIFIED BY THIS SPE (DDSOURCE MEMBERS DBDPDBS$ AND DBDPSEG$) OR FOR CHANGES TO THE RANDOMIZING PARAMETERS. JOB DBDADBD MAY BE USED. 7. REGENERATE THE ACB'S. JOB DBDAACB MAY BE USED. 8. ALLOCATE AND LOAD THE NEW DATABASES. JOB DBDARELD MAY BE USED TO LOAD THE NEW DATABASES AFTER THE FOLLOWING CHANGES: A. DELETE STEP DBSPREL. B. CHANGE THE DFSUINPT OF THE NEXT STEP, DBSREL, TO SPECIFY THE DATASET THAT WAS THE SYSUT1 INPUT TO STEP DBSPREL. (DBD60.DBSUNL IN THE SUPPLIED JCL.) 9. LINKEDIT THE TEMPORARY MIGRATION MODULE DBDAMIG4. THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS MAY BE USED. THE DATASET NAMES SHOULD BE CHANGED TO FIT YOUR INSTALLATION.
