PQ26070: THE WLM/2 OPERATIONS LIST FAILS WITH ERROR SYS3175 IN CASE THE <FIELDS TO VIEW> LIST CONTAINS ONE OR MORE BLANK ENTRY LINES.

Error description

• The WLM/2 Operations List fails with error SYS3175 in case the
  <Fields to view> list appears to contain one or more blank entry
  lines.
  

Local fix

• Move the blank entry lines from the <Fields to view> to the
  <Fields available> list.
  

Problem summary

• ****************************************************************
  * USERS AFFECTED: All the OPC customers who use the OPC        *
  *                 WLM/2 to do Operation List requests.         *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: As very rare case, in a customer case   *
  *                      BLANK LINES were inserted on Setting    *
  *                      the WLM/2 object OPCOperationsList      *
  *                      from the OS/2 WARP Desktop. These       *
  *                      BLANK LINES were included in the        *
  *                      Fields page of the Object Notebook,     *
  *                      resulting into the ERROR SYS3175 on     *
  *                      any attempt to run the Object with      *
  *                      this Setting.                           *

  * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY THE PTF FIXING THIS APAR               *
  ****************************************************************
  Setting an occurrence of the WLM/2 OPCOperationsList object
  from his OS/2 WARP desktop, a customer did some needed setting
  using the Object Notebook, like for the mandatory Subsystem Name
  field in the first page, but NOT setting the Fields page, where
  was used the default list for the "Fields to view" list.
  Any attempt to run this object caused the SYS3175 error.
  Any effort to solve it was unsuccessfully, until the change
  team asked to verify the setting of the Fields page of the
  failing OPCOperationsList object, so immediately the customer
  discovered BLANK LINES at the bottom of the "Fields to view"
  list, just visible adding other lines to this list.
  BLANK LINES were the culprit of the SYS3175 error, so the WLM/2
  code cannot manage a BLANK LINE as Field to view.
  

Problem conclusion

• The WLM/2 code was fixed to be able to skip any BLANK LINE
  randomly included in the "Fields to view" list of the Setting
  Notebook of the OPCOperationList Object.
