Error description
Customer setting up a Windows NT tracker agent codes: eqqshell=%ComSpec% as documented. But this fails with msgEQQTX91E. Since the code is Unix oriented, the only way to make a variable recognizable is to use $ instead of %, as follows: eqqshell=¢comspec This needs to be documented.
Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: ALL USERS OF TRACKER NT * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The documentation relative to the * * parameter eqqshell of the config file * * on NT machine is incorrect. * * The System variable ComSpec should * * be assigned as follows: * * eqqshell = $comspec * * (it is not case sensitive in this case) * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The parameter eqqshell of the configuration file of the Tracker NT is erroneously documented. The actual documentation, that is eqqshell=%comspec% is not correct since the system variable comspec is not resolved and the default value for eqqshell is substituted at eqqver command run time. The correct form is eqqshell=$comspec, that is using the dollar sign (5B in hex). Documentation will be updated accordingly.
