    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The main symptom of this NVAS error is *
    * the issue of a series of error *
    *                      msgEMS0665E.                            *
    * The most involved module is EMSEWR60. *

    * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY THE PTF FIXING THIS APAR *
    ****************************************************************
The error is related to a processing request related to
a session, whose ridt control block is not in the right
    status.
The two sessions used by NVAS to maintain a user session
between the real terminal and the application are represented
by two analogous control blocks, each with a specific code to
indicate wich session it's related to, real or server.
In the error case, the control block has a code indicating a not
correct status for the processing time.
The most recurring status found in the dump of the analysed
problems was "free", then the error msgEMS0665E.

Problem conclusion

  • The problem looks to have some relationships with deallocation
broken processing, whose results are session related control
blocks with incorrect status and pointers to control blocks
still valid. Now a better check allows to break the control
blocks ridt relationship only in a standard log off processing.
