Error description
A customer of ours needs to enable FIPS-140-2 security for the iBase environment. When that is enabled, they can no longer open or create security files in iBase Designer. Below is the details of the error message. "Failed to encrypt data" the details of the problem are : "An error occurred in MSecurity::E MSecurity:EncodeSecurityPolicy idSecurityPolicy:Save FMain:DoCommand(SecurityFileNew)
Local fix
Change the default value of 1 of the following registry key to 0. "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\FIPSAlgorithmPolicy\E nabled"
