PN80441: DVG0670I NETVIEW EVENTS MSG REPORTING LU0 RUSIZE OF 256 INSTEAD OF RUSIZE SPECIFIED IN LOGMODE TABLE ENTRY

Error description

• At server startup time, DVG670I NetView Events msg reports a
  default RUSIZE of 256K.  This evolved from earlier releases of
  NetView FTP that supported LU0 protocol.  The RUSIZE reported
  should reflect what's specified in the FTPBIND logmode table
  entry.

  *                      DLOGMODE is used to specify the LOGMODE *
  *                      name     for    the    LU6.2    session *
  *                      conversation.  The  DVG670I  message do *
  *                      not  have  to  notify  RUSIZE  but  the *
  *                      DLOGMODE value.                         *

  * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY THE PTF FIXING THIS APAR               *

  Message DVG670I with wrong RUSIZE.
  

Problem conclusion

• The  problem  is solved. The DVG670I message will now report the
  value  for  the  DLOGMODE  server  startup parameter. The RUSIZE
  parameter has been removed since it is not used anymore.
