Error description
This NSLOOKUP cmd, nslookup -type=TXT ps52 172.16.1.25, returns (as seen in SYSPRINT from batch job) the followiong msgs: EZB3170I Server: hpcs2.manbw.dk EZB3172I Address: 172.16.1.25 EZB3143I ps52.manbw.dk text = ps/2 a9543 how When displayed in HEX there are non-printable characters returned in the "TEXT" resource records from the nameserver: EZB3143I ps52.manbw.dk text = ps/2 a9543 how CECFFFFC449AFF49898A4890A8AA474009A6F48FFFF489A0 59231439007252B41526B42535730E05E72120195430866F AA || It appears that the csect BD@list, is passes not only the TEXT data string to be translated, but passes the translate routine the data length field preceeding the data. ADDITIONAL SYMPTOMS: The EZA3143I is NOT documented in the messages and codes manual.

Problem conclusion
