APAR status

  • Closed as documentation error.

Error description

  • Status key 96 applies to QSAM files as well. It is issued
when CBLQDA(OFF) is specified and no DD statement available
for the file being created. Page 192 of the IBM SAA AD/Cycle
COBOL/370 Language Reference (SC26-4769-00) manual indicates
that SK96 is for VSAM only. This is incorrect.
