APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • An ABENDS0C1 occurs when IQCQMRQ0 is in control after label
QMRQCMDS and a bad branch occurs. This is due to QCF programs
no longer being there as a result of the in-progress IMS
shutdown.                                                S0C1

Local fix

  • Do not run a QCF UNLOAD during an IMS shutdown.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
* USERS AFFECTED: All users of QCF3.1.                         *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Programs are not loaded during IMS      *
*                      shutdown. If a TSO user starts a        *
*                      QCF task (browse, query, load,          *
*                      unload ), the initialization is not     *
*                      working - programs are not loaded       *
*                      in IMS region. There is no check for    *
*                      preloaded programs and BALR to          *
*                      address 0 results in 0C1.               *

* RECOMMENDATION: To have the problem fixed, IMS should be     *
*                 restarted.                                   *
****************************************************************
Install the PTF,the problem will be fixed after new IMS start.
