  * USERS AFFECTED: All TDSz users of the z/OS Performance       *

  *                 z/OS System (MVS) Component who wish to      *
  *                 collect MIPS information for IFL             *
  *                 processors.                                  *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR provides MIPS support         *
  *                      for IFL processors.                     *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY THE PTF FIXING THIS APAR               *
  ****************************************************************
  TDSz collects MIPS information for only CP, IIP and
  IFA processors. This APAR introduces MIPS calculations also for
  IFL processors.
  

Problem conclusion

• The following changes are introduced with this APAR:
  
  1. Lookup table MVS_MIPS_T now supports processor type IFL.
  2. Update definitions for tables MVSPM_LPAR_H and MVS_LPAR_* are
  changed to collect data to existing columns MIPS_PER_LOG,
  MIPS_PER_LOG_CP, CPU_BUSY_MIPS and MIPS_TOT_CAPACITY not only
  for the existing processor types of CP, IFA and IIP, but also
  for processor type IFL.
  3. The System Performance Feature Reference Volume I is
  updated to reflect these changes.
