Error description

• 1. When CEX journal switch occurs on a z/OS 2.1 system, message
  IEC190I INVALID DCBE: STORAGE NOT ADDRESSABLE is issued. The
  journal switch is successful.
  2. An ABEND0F8 can occur during error processing in FUNTDB01
  when an SRB is released by a non-supervisor state task due to
  the MODESET SVC being issued for the SRB.
  3. An ABEND0C4 can occur in FUNMSGH during CEX shutdown due to
  the MSGK service being terminated too early.

  This APAR is addressing the following issues:
  1.When running under z/OS 2.1 messages IEC190I is issued
  indicating a problem with the use of the DCBE for the archive
  output dataset. The job runs correctly.
  2.An abend 0F8 can occur during error processing in FUNTDB01
  when an SRB is released by a non-supervisor state task due
  to the MODSET SVC being issued for the SRB.
  3.An abend 0C4 can occur in FUNMSGH during IMS Connect
  Extensions shutdown due to the MSGK service being terminated
  too early.
  4.Add serviceability improvements to capture first failure
  diagnostics and dumps when needed.
  5.Invalid dataset in a concatenation of PDS/PDSE libraries get
  S213 abend or no members found errors.
  

Problem conclusion

• The following changes have been made for the above issues:
  1.Corrected the issues indicated by the IEC190I message.
  2.Corrected FUNTDB01 to correctly recognize the supervisor
  state of the task/SRB being released.
  3.Corrected the timing of deletion of the MSGK service.
  4.Added additional error processing and diagnostic data
  gathering.
  5.Improved PDS/PDSE validation.
