  • The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS' panel ADB2RIP 'Revoke
Impact Report' will show different results for same action
depending on whether the user holds SYSADM authority.

*                 z/OS who run the revoke impact report to     *
*                 display the objects impacted when revoking   *
*                 SYSADM privileges from a user.               *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When running the Revoke Impact Report   *
*                      on panel ADB2RIP 'Revoke Impact         *
*                      Report', DB2 Admin does not display     *
*                      all the views to be dropped by DB2 if   *
*                      SYSADM privilege is revoked.            *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
During REVOKE of SYSADM authority, DB2 drops all views created
by the user who has SYSADM authority. The Revoke Impact report
only includes the views where the SYSADM user is the owner
(GRANTOR = GRANTEE).
