running Fast Path Advanced Analyzer while specifying

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Abend S0C4 occurs in module HFPA5SR0    *
*                      when running FPA Analyze or FPO Online  *
*                      Pointer Checker with SEGLDIST=YES.      *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
****************************************************************
When the average length of a segment is extremely closed to
the maximum length, and when SEGLDIST=YES is specified, FPA
Analyze or FPO Online Pointer Checker abends with S0C4 in module
HFPA5SR0. The cause of the abend is to calculate the range that
contains more than 90% of segment occurrences incorrectly.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The FPA Analyze and the FPO Online Pointer Checker are modified
to calculate the range that contains more than 90% of segment
occurrences correctly.
