Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM Cognos BI 10.2.1 for z/OS   *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: IBM Cognos BI v10.2 RP1 FP1 (10.2.1.1)  *
  *                      is provided as a set of eleven PTFs.    *
  *                      These must be applied in sequence to    *
  *                      upgrade a 10.2.1 instance to 10.2.1.1   *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  To apply 10.2.1.1 to your base 10.2.1 (HCGCA21) install, please
  keep the following instructions in mind:
  There are 11 PTFs that comprise this Fix Pack. They must be
  installed sequentially.
  After you receive and apply each PTF, you must run 'issetup'
  in -PathPrefix-/usr/lpp/cognos/HCGCA21/installer/cgc_upbisrvr
  BEFORE you receive and apply the next PTF in the sequence.
  
  Each apply step will replace the contents of this directory.
  Refer to the IBM Cognos Installation and Configuration Guide
  for help with the issetup step.  Complete the issetup patching
  for each PTF before continuing with subsequent PTF apply steps.
  
  Note: The SMPPTS dataset that was created during the SMP/E
  install of IBM Cognos BI 10.2.1 may need to be increased in
  size to accomodate all 11 PTFs in this Fix Pack.
  The SMPPTS dataset will need to be able to grow to at least
  4500 cylinders for the RECEIVE operations to succeed.
  

Problem conclusion

• This Fix Pack will upgrade your IBM Cognos installation to
  v10.2.1.1.
