APAR status

Error description

  • After installing the RP1 FP1 updater kit (10.2.5001.156) on top
of the Caspian RP1 GA kit (10.2.5000.275), an additional
shortcut gets created with an incorrect product name.  (IBM
Cognos ROLAP Cube Designer)??In the start menu we end up with
two different shortcuts which both point to the same thing. IBM
Cognos Cube Designer (created from RP1) and IBM Cognos ROLAP
Cube Designer (created from FP1).  ??The product name is IBM
Cognos Cube Designer.  In the past releases we made a conscious
effort to not include ROLAP in any of the components related to
Dynamic Cubes.??Both shortcuts seem to work, so there doesn't
seem to be any functional issues other than it being confusing
to the user.??Not sure exactly when this additional shortcut
first started showing up.  I did not see this behavior with
updater kit 10.2.5001.144.??
