    to the CF logstream definition job

Problem summary

    * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS IA v.5.1 users.                     *

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This PTF introduces into CICS IA V510   *
    *                      some correction of CIUJCDLS.JCL job     *
    *                      from CICS IA V520 for the logstream     *
    *                      to couple facility.                     *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF and perform HOLD ACTION item.  *
    ****************************************************************
    Two options: AUTODELETE(YES)  and RETPD(_lsretpd_) are
    inserted into logstream definition for the coupling-facility
    logstream.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The log stream definition for the coupling-facility was
    changed from:
    _xcf1_ DEFINE LOGSTREAM
              NAME(_lsnamehlq_.CIUMTJNL)
              STRUCTNAME(_lsstrcnm_)
              STG_DUPLEX(YES)
              DUPLEXMODE(COND)          _xcf2_
    
    to:
    _xcf1_ DEFINE LOGSTREAM
              NAME(_lsnamehlq_.CIUMTJNL)
              STRUCTNAME(_lsstrcnm_)
              AUTODELETE(YES)
              RETPD(_lsretpd_)
              STG_DUPLEX(YES)
              DUPLEXMODE(COND)          _xcf2_
