Error description
Problem Description: When we have any hyperlink in DOORS Object Text, that has the angular bracket, then the xml created by RPE or the internal Document Generation are getting corrupted. For example - https://?server?/?port?/web or https://www.google.co.in/??parameter? Steps to reproduce: 1. Restore the module I have provided in DOORS 9.5.1.1 2. Export the module using File ? Export ? Document Generation ? Export. 3. You will observe that the report generation take a long time and at last you have to cancel the generation. This also seems to be a bug in the inbuilt report generation from DOORS. 4. Navigate to ?C:\Users\?local Profile?\AppData\Local\Temp\RPE? or a similar temp location on your system and look for a file called ?rpe_sample_local.log? 5. You will see an entry ?Error is: The value of attribute 'href' must not contain the '?' character.? 6. Open the file ?doorsXMLxxxx-xxx-xx-xxx.xml? inside ?\temp\tmpDOORS\?folder with a random numbering?\?. You will be able to observe the issue. Workaround: No workaround
