    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: HDPC gets ABEND0C4 at offset X'063A' in *
    *                      CSECT FABPUMAP.                         *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. *
    ****************************************************************
    There is a possibility of ABEND0C4 in CSECT FABPUMAP when all of
    the following conditions are met:
    - HDPC with HASH=NO and EPSCHK=YES is run for HALDBs in a
      stand-alone (FABPMAIN) job.
    - The HALDBs have logical relationships or PSINDEXes.
    - The target segments are split.

    When the area that contains the data part of the split segment
    is close to the beginning of the boundary of the I/O buffer,
    HDPC gets ABEND0C4 because HDPC erroneously attempts to handle
    the data part of split segments as the prefix part.

Problem conclusion

  • The FABPUMAP module has been modified to fix the error.
