Error description

• Crystal Report generated by clicking Print Record button in
  windows client shows blank MULTILINE_STRING field with DB2
  database when it contains a special character such as  circled
  number.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Certain characters in the 932 codepage could not be displayed
  correctly in the internal recordset used to run ClearQuest
  Crystal reports.  This resulted in an inability to run reports
  with those characters and/or failure to display that data.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix is available in ClearQuest 8.0.0.8 and 8.0.1.1.
  
  ClearQuest Crystal reports now display all fields with the
  problematic characters.  A newer codepage containing these SJIS
  characters is now used by our database ODBC drivers.  This
  codepage contains the characters that were problematic before.
