APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Framework manager model is using two data sources, Cognos sample
    Powercube and SQL Server relational sample datasource. Both are
    defined as separate Cognos Data Sources under Cognos
    Administration. Report has crosstab and list, first pulling data
    from PC, second from relational data source.  When report is run
    in Cognos Connection, it runs fine first time. When report is
    run second time, it prompts twice to pick data sources. Report
    runs ok, if Data source selection order corresponds the
    (appearance) order of their references on a report. If not,
    reoprt errors either: --- QE-DEF-0285 The logon failed.
    QE-DEF-0325 The logon failed for the following
    reason:RQP-DEF-0068 Unable to connect to at least one database
    during a multi-database attach to 1 database(s) in:
    great_outdoors_warehouse UDA-SQL-0432 Unable to locate the
    gateway "cogudapc".    or   OP-ERR-0025 The following
    OLAPPlanner internal error occurred:
    'OPASSERT(UnknownProvider()) in OPDataProvider::GetProviderID at
    OLAPPlannerDataProvider.cpp:1166'. ---  Also happens when used
    Powercube with Oracle data source and Microsoft ODBC. This does
    not happen in Cognos 10.1.1, reoprt runs without prompting and
    without errors.
