  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR enhances the QMF table editor *
  *                      (EDIT TABLE command) to preserve        *
  *                      trailing blanks on VARCHAR data types.  *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  The QMF table editor, when running in change mode, is updated to
  preserve trailing blanks on VARCHAR data types. The enhancement
  is enabled when the new global variable DSQCP_RMV_BLANKS is set
  to a value of '0'.  The default behavior of the table editor
  remains the same with trailing blanks being stripped (removed)
  for VARCHAR data types when running in change mode. The default
  setting for the new global variable DSQCP_RMV_BLANKS is '1'.
